The Securities Commission of Malaysia’s (SC) investor education programme, InvestSmart®, aims to nurture knowledgeable investors who are independent and capable of making the best possible investing decisions.
Ever since its debut in 2014, InvestSmart® has aggressively pursued a range of initiatives to reach out to a wide variety of the public across the country, educating consumers on a number of different investment-related issues. In conjunction with World Investor Week and Financial Literacy Month 2022, InvestSmart® Fest 2022 (“ISF 2022”) took place from 14th to 16th October at Hall 5, KL Convention Center. The three-day event, themed “Silap Labur Duit Lebur” (Investing Wrongly Is Costly) seeks to encourage the public to be cautious when making investment choices.
Dato’ Fadzli Shah, CEO of MX Global, participated in a panel discussion titled “Pelaburan Kripto: Peluang or Perangkap?” (Crypto Investment: An Opportunity or a Fraud?).
Throughout this panel discussion, the panellists offered their perspectives on how to access, understand, and manage digital assets in a legal and appropriate manner. The objective is to educate consumers on the importance of choosing a licensed exchange to explore digital assets.
