Breaking Barriers in Tech: International Women’s Day Panel Discussion

On March 13, 2025, MX Global had the honor of participating in a panel discussion titled “How to Break into and Excel in the Web3 and Tech Industry in Malaysia”, held at the **MYEG Auditorium in conjunction with International Women’s Day. The event gathered industry experts and aspiring professionals to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the tech landscape, especially for women.
The panel featured Thalia Bondoc, Greeta, Dr. Chen ZhiYuan, Irsyad Saidin, and Jevon Cheng, each offering valuable insights into the evolving world of Web3. From the importance of mentorship to fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and recognizing patterns in the booming crypto space, the discussion was filled with practical advice for those looking to break into tech.
To make the event even more special, MX Global distributed 100 roses to participants as a token of appreciation, symbolizing resilience and empowerment in the industry.
Bringing Blockchain Knowledge to Nottingham University
Later in the month on 24th of April 2025, MX Global was privileged to collaborate with MyEG and Nottingham University Malaysia, where our CEO, Dato’ Fadzli Shah, who is also the Co-Founder of Zetrix, delivered a guest lecture on Blockchain & Web3. He was joined by our Head of Product, Irsyad Saidin, who led an engaging session on the practical applications and future of blockchain technology.
The event, organized by MyEG with the assistance of Dr. Chen ZhiYuan, Head of School & Associate Professor, School of Computer Science, provided an excellent opportunity to bridge academia with industry and inspire students to explore the vast potential of blockchain innovations.
IFTAR: Digital Capital Talks for Cooperatives
On March 26, 2025, MX Global participated in a special Ramadan event held at JAAII KL Thai Food in Kuala Lumpur. The event was co-hosted by Koperasi Pakar Bitcoin Berhad (in proposal), SB by Senang Network, and ICP, featuring a brief colloquium on the latest developments in decentralized finance and technology, followed by a delightful iftar.
Representing MX Global, Irsyad Saidin and Syairil Reza joined an exclusive gathering limited to just 24 participants. The event featured insightful discussions from experts such as Nas, Ar. Ahmad Najib, and Dr. Mohd Sharizad, covering topics like digital capital, AI, Bitcoin’s cultural impact in ASEAN, and Shariah compliance in digital assets. Additionally, Aaron Ting, Co-founder of ICP Hub Singapore, provided an introduction to the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) and its role in revolutionizing decentralized tech for cooperatives
Beyond the discussions, attendees enjoyed a meaningful evening with networking opportunities, prayers, a heritage iftar meal with roasted chicken, and even a lucky draw to close the night.
